LearnStates is a tiny educational game that was developed to help kids in learning names and locations of all states of the United States of America. It can be also interesting for older people who can compete with their friends in scoring more points. The game has a very simple and easy-to-use interface. All you have to do is match the image on the map with the state name in the list as fast as you can. For each right answer you get points. If you match all states with their names correctly you will get special extra bonus. All scores are saved in the High Score List. LearnStates allows changing colors on the map making them darker or lighter and saving user-defined settings. Also you can activate the help mode during the game by pressing the proper button. You will see all states with their names on the map in this mode. LearnStates has very low system requirements and doesn't need a lot of space on your hard drive. Its only disadvantage is the lack of the current game saving ability. The application is absolutely free. |
